Almost two years after "Messa da Requiem", Retrosic"s new full-length release will see the light of day! Harsh arrangements combined with biting vocals remain the centre of Retrosic"s sound. Hard electronics meet extraordinary instrumentation and sounds! With "The Storm" Indian flutes open the album. Martial military drums find their way and ethereal boys" choirs rise in the final part of "Maneater". "Dragonfire" supposedly first-ever links industrial elements with wide trombones, whereas "Elysium" apparently leaves the electronic context completely to make room for Oriental rhythms. It is this song, which again features Zaide"s singing as its centrepiece. Finally New York"s scene veteran and mastermind of Bruderschaft, Rexx Arkana, contributed his part to the subject of the album by accounting lyrics for the song "New World Order".Written under the leitmotiv "Destroy the World" to save it, "God of Hell" is thematically a logical consequence of its predecessor, but considers the issue globally.Extravagance and thrill also characterise the apocalyptic video that comes with "The Storm". It is a component of the bonus disc "Servant of Hell". It is hardly imaginable but a four-man team was working 24 hours a day for more than three weeks to achieve the special effects of the video and profited from the support of J. Schopper whose team was already awarded an Oscar for the special effects in the film "Independence Day".Tracklist: - 1 - The Storm - 2 - Maneater - 3 - New World Order - 4 - Tale Of Woe - 5 - Dragonfire - 6 - Elysium - 7 - Total War - 8 - Antichrist- 9 - Sphere - 10 - Tears In RainReleased late April, 2004
